The questions in this post come from a post by OutFox blog please pop over and have a read of the original post there 🙂
Of course, most of us writers are not fortunate enough to have landed a publishing contract that allows us to give up our full time jobs, so work takes up most of our time, leaving very little for writing as it is, but sometimes we want, or need, a break from writing too, so what do you do when you aren’t writing? I’d love to know!
Hi readers 😀
I just want to quickly apologise for both the lack of posts and for not having replied to and approved any comments for a while. Life has been very busy, with work, both kids health problems and actually going on holiday to have a break from it all I just haven’t had time.
I will get the comments approved and replied to asap and do an update post soon too.
In the meantime, if you are interested I have written a blog post for work recently which you can read here: http://www.england.nhs.uk/2013/10/15/sharon-howard/
Hope you enjoy that and I will be back soon as I have so many notes from my holiday I need to write up and share with you!
Don’t you just love meeting new people and making new friends?
Even better, the random conversations that you can end up having as you get to know each other?
Such fun, and you learn things that inspire, amaze and even shock you.
I made a new friend recently and she told me the most beautiful story of her engagement, I asked her if it would be okay to share it as I thought my readers would find it very moving and she agreed I could so here, for you, is a love story better than anything you see in the movies (especially those silly chick-flicks! lol) because it’s TRUE!
*Disclaimer – names and certain details have been altered to protect identities but the story is still true*
Yes, I know it was at the weekend but I didn’t have time to write a post then, but did you watch?
I did and I loved it!
I even got my kids to watch with me, it was the first time either of them had ever seen it, and they were pleasantly surprised that they enjoyed it too – if only to take the mickey out of how funny some of the acts were and try to grasp the political voting – which they were disgusted about which just made me laugh all the more…
So – did you guess the winner?
I thought it would be fun to share my facebook statuses that were written as I watched so you can see what I thought (along with the comments – anonomised for my friends’ benefit, but included as they make things even funnier! lol)
Did I guess the winner? Read on to find out! 😉 hehe
